Some higlights would give more volume and I think that it would also be nice to add higlights on the dress to give a shiny effect

i think it would look too 'done' with more highlights. the blurry effect and low contrast colors of the dress work perfectly here. that's partly what gives you that old feeling, as many have said already. 9/9
